ABOUT THIS PAGE: In 2017 everyone must go to school from ages 5-16 years. My school is St Peters secondary school. We have to go to school to be educated so that one day we will all be able to get a good job. We have great facilities such as two big fields, many classrooms filled with good quality equipment and a large amount of space. We have 5 years at our school, ages 11-16, as well as a sixth form who study for their A levels. There are also many teachers and staff who help us to learn more including our headmaster Mr Miller. We have to go to school 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. CLICK ON BUTTONS BELLOW.
WHAT LESSONS DO WE HAVE?
At St Peters we have, Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, P.E, Art Drama, Technology, Computing, and more. As we are a catholic school we also have to learn about our faith in a lesson called RE. To get to each lesson we have to travel around the school to the different classrooms, depending on our timetable - SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MY TIMETABLE We have a week A and week B that alternate each week. We do all our work in our exercise books and have different books for each subject. |
SCHOOL HOUSES
At St Peters we have houses which are like teams that we are divided into. We earn house points when we do something good and receive cautions if we are badly behaved. There are 6 houses at St Peters, Bakhita, Frassati, John Paul II, Kolbe, Romero, and Teresa. They are all named after saints. We use our houses on sports day, and a number of other big occasions at school. They each have their own colour, blue, green, red, purple, pink and yellow. |
